There’s much to be said for the LBD – and rightly so, it’s a pillar of the fashion community’s last minute party situation advisory committee (if you will) – likewise the corresponding shoulder bag, for which the same level of press is rarely delivered. Under Anthony Vaccarello for Saint Laurent’s creative direction however, this soon will no doubt change.

Speaking the house language from the metaphorical rooftops, the Love and Tuxedo Minaudiéres, pictured here above and below, feature emblematic contours, plenty of character, and an attitude that wouldn’t look out of place on some time campaign girl Hiandra Martinez’s arm. While the Tuxedo edition boasts sharp lines and a clean silhouette, the Love version embodies Saint Laurent approved sensuality; both scream pure chic.
