Premiere: Cameron Jones – "Call It Off"

Get ready to be hit right in the feels.

You know that feeling when you’re in a relationship and there’s that niggling sense that something just ain’t right? Well, Hertfordshire born singer-songwriter Cameron Jones knows just how you feel and has beautifully articulated it in new track “Call It Off”. As Cameron says, “This is a pre-break up track that isn’t about any single-sided loss of love but a mutual feeling that something’s not right. And more often than not we’re stupid enough to deal with this by not talking about it or ignoring it until the small issue at the beginning ends up tearing you apart in the end.”

With a Ben-Howard-meets-Bon-Iver-esque sound, “Call It Off” is a moving and haunting track showcasing Cameron’s rich vocals and unique sound. A refreshingly honest look at a relationship, the song is the lead track from Cameron’s upcoming EP, “My Omen”, which takes an intimate look at Cameron’s personal life, touching on love, commitment and life choices.

Set to have an incredible 2017, releasing his EP and performing at Servant Jazz Quarters (London) on 8th May, Cameron may be rivalling Adele with lyrics that will make you want to cry and consider breaking up with your S.O. but it’s packaged in such stunning melodies that you won’t even be mad about it. So, grab the tissues and have a listen. And even if you do break up after hearing this, you’re about to fall in love with Cameron anyway…
