Prepare to be hypnotised by Jena Irene Asciutto. Her incredible vocal talent, which was seen by the masses when she was a contestant on American Idol in 2014, is evident in her latest single “Floating Down The River”. Taken from her highly anticipated debut album, Cold Fame, it’s a beautiful and soulful track, showcasing Jena’s stunning voice and song writing talent. Both of which are further emphasised by the gorgeous visuals of the accompanying video.

When we asked about the creative process behind the video, Jena told us, “Working with a film student from Detroit’s College of Creative Studies was such a cool experience. The first time working with a director of my generation definitely brought a feeling of hunger for originality. This video represents finding self-acceptance in Detroit, and what better place to capture it than the historic Belle Isle.”

Jena’s album, Cold Fame, is out on May 26th via Original 1265 Recordings. Destined to be a huge success, we’re planning on being the first in the line to get it.
