Feeling in touch with his Gemini side, Siimba Liives Long has always seen his life in two halves. Born in New York, raised in Ethiopia and now residing back in Brooklyn, this Ethiopian American artist pays homage to his heritage by never forgetting his roots. Inspired by the likes of Nas, 2 Pac and The Fugees, it’s easy to see where his jazzy production and smooth vocals come from.

As his biography puts it: “he’s just as familiar with the lions of the streets as he is with the lions of the jungle,” something he’s been keen to prove in recent video instalments, filmed walking lions by their tails… Currently on the US leg of The Zemenays Geminii Tour, Wonderland is happy today to debut his latest aural delight, “Mind Over Matter”.
