Clarks Originals taps new creative talent for ‘The World Needs Originals’ campaign.

Lensed by MAP signing Paul Wetherell, the latest campaign from Clarks Originals seeks to explore the role of the pioneer in creative circles today. Titled ‘The World Needs Originals’, the iconic brand has tapped an impressive line-up of dancers, musicians, presenters and designers who embody the bold sense of adventure and free thinking attitude synonymous with Clarks.

Boasting Julie Adenuga, Connie Constance and Bradley Soileau as well as Fa Empel, Kojey Radical and Michael-John Harper, ‘The World Needs Originals’ develops the brand’s authenticity driven DNA, showcasing those individuals who, as the accompanying release spells it, ‘prefer to write their own story rather than be a footnote to someone else’s’.

Made up of three key segments, the SS17 collection celebrates its classics with ‘Casual’ – elsewhere complemented with a hot off the press series of ‘Veg Tan’ models (a capsule line produced in premium Italian vegetable tanned natural leather) – while the ‘Sport’ and ‘Dress’ elements focus on design innovation and silhouette respectively.
