Standing in front of a 900 strong crowd at the iconic London venue Fabric, activist, designer and all round badass Vivienne Westwood took to the stage to deliver a powerful message: “There is one truly political act you can make as an individual or a group – SWITCH to GREEN ENERGY. Stop the demand for fossil fuels and further fracking and make choices that stop climate change.”

The Mad Max themed night, SWITCH!, was hosted by Westwood and her organisation Climate Revolution as part of an ongoing rebellion against the current political, economic and social doctrines. A gigantic success, the evening saw guests celebrating a night of culture and environmental activism. Along with Westwood herself, speakers included green energy industrialist and founder of Ecotricity, Dale Vince, who together with Westwood is aiming for half of the UK to switch to green energy within 5 years.

It was an incredible night of partying with a purpose, and with a special DJ set from A Guy Called Gerald it was always destined to go down in the history books. With the focus on fun, fashion, and fighting for a good cause, we can’t wait for the next event!
