Following on from her stunning debut album, Salt, Roseau is back with her new single “Start Again” from her upcoming EP, “Muscles and Bones”. The Essex-born songwriter has been praised for her imaginative story telling skills, creating beautiful narratives with her haunting vocals. Having tackled heartbreak in her debut album, Roseau’s new EP explores learning how to deal with a loss, “The storyline that ties the EP together is of loss and learning how to cope with it. Realising that sadness will manifest itself in other ways if you try to repress it. Mine came through recurring dreams of buildings collapsing with loved ones trapped inside them, tsunamis and dark blue, bottomless expanses of ocean.”

“Start Again” is a slightly more upbeat track, with Roseau’s stunning melodies floating over an electronic pop beat. “I wanted to create a song that was a little more upbeat to counter the moodier tone of the rest of the EP. The song represents acceptance which leads to positivity, and I wanted the music to reflect that,” Roseau told us. What she gives us is an uplifting melodic pop song, with a captivating story and a rhythm that you can’t help but sway along to. With her EP set for release on the 31st of March via Tape Club Records, Roseau is about to take us on yet another incredible journey.
