Irish singer-songwriter Áine Cahill discovered her love for music at the tender age of 16 and hasn’t looked back since, taking the pop world by storm one festival at a time. Citing superstars like Lady Gaga, Lana Del Rey and Marina and the Diamonds as her main influences, Áine combines her love of classic jazz and pop music with warm, velvety-like vocals and a sassy attitude to rival Adele’s.
Following the success of her debut EP “Paper Crown” and playing the Bread and Roses stage at Glastonbury in 2016, Áine dropped new single “Plastic” in January and has now followed it up with a stunning video. In the track, Áine talks about that all too relatable feeling of falling for the wrong person (we’ve all been there!) and proceeds to call out the wrong doer, in a unique combination of sultry strings and soulful beats. Oh, and she looks damn cool doing it.
