Those with their finger on the footwear pulse will no doubt be clued up on Giuseppe Zanotti’s recent collaboration with Jennifer Lopez (boasting embellishment, multiple straps and a pastel heavy palette, it looked something like this), but not two months in and 2017 has already handed a second OMG moment to the label.

Cue Zayn Malik… Teaming up with the Italian label for an exciting fashion/music mash up – Giuseppe for Zayn – the musician has produced an exclusive men’s capsule collection. “I really believe style comes from taking chances, being bold and not being afraid to express yourself,” he says. “I feel Giuseppe does that with his collections – and I try to do that with my music.”

“Zayn is a fashion icon, truly,” adds Zanotti. “It’s who he is, it’s not fake. Just as his music is soulful, his style is natural. His whole approach is contemporary, an easy coolness with the right amount of modern rebel.” This attitude translates through to the collection in a masculine offering that features boots and sneakers, all with embossed branding details.
