TIFFANY & CO. PRESENTS “DIGITAL AS MEDIUM”

Tavi Gevinson presents the latest short from Tiffany & Co.’s ‘New Ways of Seeing’.

For the third instalment of its ‘New Ways of Seeing’ series, Tiffany & Co. taps the artistic community’s digital parties with new short, “Digital As Medium”. Presented by writer, actress and internet darling Tavi Gevinson, the episode explores perhaps one of contemporary art’s most important platforms: the world wide web.

“Art used to be experienced one to one,” Gevinson’s into observes, “but the new way of seeing is one to infinity.”

Part of the luxury brand’s continued sponsorship of New York’s Whitney Biennial – which kicks off next month and runs till 11th June – the video features cameos from some of this year’s most exciting talent, amongst them Petra Cortright (a self-confessed “digital hoarder”), ‘hacker’ Cory Arcangel, and Douglas Coupland whose work utilises facial recognition software.
