Oliver Riot – "Omen"

Identical twins Oliver Riot release their beautiful new single, “Omen”.

Originally from New Mexico, Benjamin and Alexander Moore spent their early years busking in bars, breweries and on street corners. Having made the move to Los Angeles, the two scooped first place in the Grammy’s annual “Rock The Mic Competition” and won studio time with legendary producer Mike Clink. They released their debut EP, “Hallucinate”, in 2015, produced in its entirety by “Real Miilk” in the back room of a 200 year old church.

The duo are now back with new track “Omen” from their forthcoming EP “Neurosis”. It’s a beautiful song, with stunning vocals emphasised over an infectious beat. The song explores the ending of a relationship after fear of “settling”, only to discover that hindsight is 20/20. In the boys’ own words: “Omen is about ending a relationship… for completely selfish reasons. Wanting “freedom” only to realise that everything offered outside of the relationship wasn’t fulfilling. Hook ups, drugs.. fleeting happiness, then more emptiness. The ominous feeling that a bad decision was being made before deciding… only to later regret that decision.”
