There was probably a time when a fashion house synonymous with fur wouldn’t – and couldn’t – simultaneously be tied to the rainbow; dying techniques hadn’t yet advanced to the standard of 2017 and garish aesthetics didn’t translate to luxury. Fast forward to today, and Fendi, one of the industry’s biggest players when it comes to the aforementioned, has released a new sunglasses collection complete with kaleidoscopic video.

Titled ‘Rainbow’, the Italian brand’s latest eyewear line-up boasts details elsewhere found in its iconic bags and accessories – notably the colourful studs – while ultra-flat, ultra-light round or cat-eye half-rim frames likewise feature in metal, with triangle-cut hard-stones blend or crystals.The accompanying short, below, uses a vibrant digital world for a backdrop, as colourful shapes and said studs make their way around the screen under a lift appropriate soundtrack.
