BURBERRY × HENRY MOORE FOUNDATION

Burberry collaborated with the Henry Moore Foundation on a new exhibition at Makers House.

While February’s been with us a week already, Wonderland appreciates that the January blues may not yet be banished, something Burberry’s hoping to cure with a new double whammy announcement.

Following its launch last year as a post-show immersive experience, open doors at Makers House returns in 2017 with a new Henry Moore exhibition launching 21st February. The chief inspiration behind Christopher Bailey’s upcoming February 2017 collection – a preview and announcement number two pictured here – the Henry Moore Foundation has worked with Burberry to showcase over 40 of the artist’s sculptures, monumental bronzes, working models, drawings and maquettes; ‘Mother and Child: Block Seat’ and ‘Torso with Point’ are amongst those to be featured.

In line with this new season inspo, the campaign, featuring those looks launched early doors, was shot at Henry Moore Studios & Gardens in Hertfordshire, while elsewhere fans can already put in their orders. Building on the brand’s see now buy now format, pieces will be available IRL (and delivered to the early bird’s door) following the full collection’s debut at London Fashion Week later in the month.
