PROENZA SCHOULER: SS17 CAMPAIGN

Natalie Westling and Selena Forrest have fun on a trampoline for new Proenza Schouler campaign.

Skateboards might be doing well in their attempt to bag the youthful accessory de rigueur title, but as we remember it, trampolines were king of childhood fun (and bouncy castles before them, FYI). If the latest short from New Yorkers Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez – the dream team behind Proenza Schouler – is anything to go by, the pair obviously concur.

Directed by Zoe Ghertner with Brian Molloy on styling duties, the new video sees Natalie Westling and Selena Forrest having the time of their lives in mid-air, as Cut Hands’ “The Claw” plays out overhead. Dressed in the cream of the womenswear label’s SS17 offering – think black and white frocks, bold red stripes and jazzy hemlines – it’s somewhere between Carrie Bradshaw learning to be a trapeze artist, and the ideal scenario for anyone who wasn’t allowed on a trampoline at school due to wrong kit. But with better light and nicer clothes.
