Double Trouble

It would be hard to see how Dean and Dan Caten’s first co-ed show could have gone any better. Their Men and Womenswear Fall collection was a unique take on outdoor wear and it proved why two designing heads really are better than one.

It’s Not a Boy/Girl Thing

One of the most striking moments of the collection was the excellently executed merging of genders. The collection was undoubtedly a celebration of gender fluidity, with masculine backpacks being bejewelled with sequinned florals and many items embracing the androgynous look. A massive favourite were the various hats adorned with tiaras – We want!

Oh Canada

The show was dedicated to the home of Mounties, moose, and liberal-Americans on indefinite holidays – Canada. Both men and women strutted down the runway in Canadian-goose-down quilt coats and ski boot inspired footwear, in a homage to Dean and Dan’s Toronto roots. With an obvious outdoor style, the collection is both high fashion and chic skier. And we can’t get enough.
