Set in picturesque Uganda, the video explores the country’s awe-inspiring natural scenery and vibrant towns (trust us, you’ve never seen anywhere like this), and sees George take a starring role in a Cinderella-like contemporary narrative.

Perhaps one of his most complex tracks, “Wake Up” documents the highs and lows of being single (we’ve all been there), the struggle of the work/life balance, as well as trust and commitment issues. One again making music we can all relate to, George The Poet cements himself as one of the country’s most exciting spoken word artists.
