Premiere: Highasakite – "Golden Ticket"

Soundtrack your winter blues with Norwegian indie-rockers Highasakite and their melancholic acoustic offering “Golden Ticket.”

They currently hold the title for the longest duration for a debut to sit in the Norwegian top 40 after racking up an impressive 120 weeks in the chart, but now Highasakite are ready to go global. Since their launch, they have outputted 3 albums to acclaimed reviews, but their latest EP sees them taking on a more laid-back vibe that’s still as infectiously addictive as their debut.

Ahead of what will no doubt be a phenomenal performance at the Nobel Peace Prize, Highasakite will release their ethereal 4-track EP, the appropriately named “Acoustic Versions” on December 2. With angelic, almost haunting vocals from lead Ingrid Helene Håvik and dreamy injections of piano and strings, this moody EP promises to plunge you into new depths of deep thought.

Here, we premiere EP-track “Golden Ticket”, recorded at Propeller Studios in Oslo, Norway.
