Together with the London College of Fashion, the UN Trust Fund to End Violence Against Women (UN Trust Fund) are hosting a social media takeover for their international project “Fashion Says No To Violence Against Women.”
Violence against women is one of the world’s most common human rights violations, impacting people, families and communities, with some places reporting 70% of women enduring some form of violence from a partner in their lifetime, regardless of age, background, ethnicity or income.
In order to spread awareness of the prevalence of domestic violence and human rights violations, the UN Trust Fund and LCF are staging a social media takeover. Join the “Orange Label” by uploading an image with the captions “Fashion says NO to violence against women”, with an image containing the colour orange. Join in today using the hashtags #Orangetheworld #UNTF #16days #Orangelabelproject and help turn social media orange to raise awareness of violence against women.
