Design Museum

London’s new Design Museum has opened it’s artsy doors to the public.

Championing a diversity of subject areas including fashion, industrial, graphic and product design, the Design Museum has relocated to Kensington High Street, joining the postcodes of art elites including the Serpentine Gallery, V&A and the Royal College of Art.

The new space embodies what the Design Museum represents; formerly the Commonwealth Institute, the building was entirely refashioned to ensure that it is at the forefront of London’s impressive architecture and is a work of art in itself. With exhibits by the likes of Alex Bizet, who explores the use of hair as a material, and Rain Wu, who uses food as a story telling device, the new home of the Design Museum is destined to be your new winter hangout.

The design museum is open daily from 10.00 until 17.45.
