IF × Weekday Collaboration

Get ready to glow this winter.

What with cycling being good for planet, less impactful on your wallet and the best way to avoid tube nightmares, it’s a pretty decent way to get about. As it gets darker though, cyclist safety becomes even more important- if those buses are going to avoid hitting you, they’ve got to be able to see you first.

Enter Weekday x IF’s new, exclusive collaboration, with innovative pieces like a variety of bags and a choker, made from silver reflective material (a.k.a careful-I’m-cycling-here! attire). IF is a Nordic insurance company with a wish to keep everyone as safe as possible, and have taken a creative path to achieve this goal, working with Weekday to design six pieces that enhance visibility without an ugly yellow mirrored armband in sight.

The accessories collection complements this season’s favoured styles, including a sharp edged cap, and a winter twist on the bumbag that rules festival season. The waist belt bag is big enough to hold everything that you need, but when worn round the waist cinches in the coveted oversized puffer to create an unusual shape, and a silhouette reminiscent of the autumn 16 catwalks.

Weekday, the modern scandal influenced brand have taken the tricky design concept of safety, and merged it with modern, sleek shapes that provide a piece for every budding cyclist out there. The wide choker is perhaps the most surprising, creative interpretation of where reflective material should highlight, and is a must buy for anyone that intends to ride throughout winter, without sacrificing their style in the process.

The sun’s light may have deserted us in the evening time, but now you can create your own, with these silver safety conscious styled accessories. Now you can listen to that podcast on your ride home, safe in the knowledge everyone can see you on the road.

The collection is available in Weekday stores and online now. Safety first is easy when it looks this good.
