Stonewall Season

The last event of the inaugural Stonewall Season welcomes over 60 contributors to an amazing exhibition.

Stonewall, the LGBT charity dedicated to supporting LGBT people, is marking the end of their incredible Stonewall Season – an inaugural festival of over 70 events taking place in 15 cities and towns across England, Scotland and Wales – with an exhibition event on 11 November that has brought together over 60 contributors to support the cause. With contributors including Years & Years frontman Olly Alexander, fashion designer Gareth Pugh and world renowned artist Marc Quinn, the exhibition is a celebration of the talent and craftsmanship in the community.

From up and coming artists to leading community figures, the works will be auctioned on the night (and they’re also available to bid on now.) Not only an exhibition, the event is a full-on party, with drag DJ Jodie Harsh, Gok Wan and DJ Sonikku all spinning on the decks, experimental foodies Bompass & Parr providing floating, edible glitter and whisky tornadoes, with supporting partners Vogue Fabrics Dalston and Diversity Matters bringing the party. Matt Horwood, Senior Communications Officer, Stonewall, said “we’re thrilled to be working with such fantastic brands and groups, who all share the same goal of LGBT equality.”

The Stonewall Season exhibition event will be held on 11 November at the Tanner Warehouse on Bermondsey Street.
