Saint Laurent’s SS17 collection is the eagerly anticipated debut from new Creative Director Anthony Vaccarello, and with his new collection preview video, #YSL02, we get to have a glimpse of what magic is to come. Featuring model Anja Rubik, the video, shot by photography greats Inez and Vinnodh, is a hazy, dreamy, black and white imagining of the Saint Laurent girl’s Parisian summer mornings by the Seine – decked head to toe in the SS17 collection, of course.

With music by Michelle Gurevich, the video preview shows the statement pieces from and evokes an idea of the attitude of Vaccarello’s debut for the brand, giving us a hint as to what is to come from the SS17 collection. Embodying the attitude and spirit of Saint Laurent, the #YSL02 collection preview video is a visualisation of how Vaccarello’s vision will change the already gloried aesthetic of the house, and how it’s change will create ripples through fashion. It’s going to be a dream.
