Ingredients that are normally found in Japanese cuisine aren’t normally the starting point for a fragrance, but the Dsquared2 masterminds aren’t one for sticking to the rules. Taking the delicate and spicy scent of pink ginger, Dsquared2 blended the notes with their Want fragrance concentration and a fusion of floral and fruity notes to make their newest incarnation: Want Pink Ginger. Working with master perfumer Aurélien Guichard to develop the new fragrance, they’ve created a scent for the glamorous, carefree, modern girl, whoever and wherever she is. It’s fresh and vibrant, powerfully feminine, and Dsquared2 all over.
Want Pink Ginger is unique in its note combinations, and is made up of over ten infusions of spicy and floral elements, making Want Pink Ginger the fragrance equivalent of a party in a bottle. Kicking off with head notes of invigorating pink ginger, mangosteen, pink pepper, lemon and tangerine, Want Pink Ginger isn’t for the faint hearted. Heart notes include damask rose and heliotrope layered on top of neroli, while the base notes are a mix of light floral scents, with vanilla and hints of violets and amber making the pink ginger pop. Dsquared2’s Want Pink Ginger checks all the floral, glamorous and feminine fragrance boxes.
