Wonderland know how to throw a good party. This weekend we hosted our Fashion Week bash in the basement of the Edition Hotel in Fitzrovia. There ain’t no party like a Fashion Week party, and in this spirit we teamed up with Alexandra Moura to present her SS17 collection: double wammy.
Our girl MAAD was in town for LFW and came to party with us, performing in AW16 Moura. Her new track ’90s Love’ has recently dropped, and her captivating vocal and throw-back R&B sound are nothing short of dreamy.
Whilst our guests sipped on Alize cocktails, Ahiki rum and Ciroc vodka, models clad in Moura’s epic SS17 collection took to the stage, like a living installation. Vast amounts of tulle, knotting and grown-up bows in a palette of black, shell pink and electric blue made for a collection which was both romantic and tactile. Earrings should of course come in two sizes only; large and extra-large, and sure enough Moura delivered with a technicolour selection of statement pieces which we must have, now if not sooner.
Winnie Harlow, Ashley James, Vogue Williams and Little Mix’s Leigh-Anne Pinnock all came down to join in the fun, and truly helped make it a night to remember.
None of it would have been possible without Grandirosa Floral Design Atelier, who turned the venue into an urban jungle; Emma Miles and Matt Stark who provided the fantastic makeup and hair for our models, Portugal Fashion Week and everyone at Heavy London and Eleven Ten Communications – thanks so much for an amazing night, from the Wonderland team… here’s to the next one!
