NIKELAB × KIM JONES

Pack all of your troubles away with the NikeLab x Kim Jones stylish and athletic collaboration.

NikeLab collaborates with British fashion designer Kim Jones, to create the perfect packable collection catered towards a travel-filled, athletic lifestyle.

Jones brings the packing/travel know-how, while Nike bring their timeless designs and quality, practical materials. Offering both men’s and women’s pieces, this collection has something for everyone. Not only that, but the collection spans for two seasons – the more the merrier. Two British athletes are featured in the collection: 800 meter champion, runner Adelle Tracey and Anthony Ogogo, a professional boxer. Gear up, because you can expect the second drop of the collection on September 22nd.

The collection consists of five pieces: bomber jacket, tech fleece hoodie, tech fleece crew, tech fleece pant and the NikeLab Air Zoom LWP trainer.

The bomber jacket is reversible and features a neon liner that juxtaposes its exterior and bonded zippers that perfectly represent the classic Nike look. The jacket is lightweight with a 100% nylon fill, and the pièce de résistance is the detachable cord that allows the jacket to roll into a handy-dandy package that makes travelling a breeze.

The tech fleece hoodie presents a new take on the Nike Windrunner, but with a travel edge. It’s made out of the same Nike Tech Fleece fabric, making it super lightweight and breezy. It also rolls itself for easy storage through a strap on the inside of the jacket. Similar to the hoodie is the Tech Fleece Crew that is specifically made for men only (lucky you, boys).

The Tech Fleece Pant is made out of Nike Tech Fleece fabric, which keeps you super warm and comfy. They feature zippered pockets that keep your belongings secure and the minimal seam placement adds extra comfort. The pants are held together by a strap to make them easily storable and convenient.

Lastly, the NikeLab Air Zoom LWP provides a modern take on the 1995 version of the design, which was the first running shoe to feature Nike Zoom Air technology. Jones stays true to the original design, while adding her own unique flair. The shoe is built on the Air Max 1 last, as Jones’ has a soft spot for the shoe. The shoe has leather lining and memory foam in its heel, which only adds to the comfort and luxury feel. The shoes come with a pair of bags that ensure the shoe is easily stored separately and kept looking fresh, making your packing absolutely hassle free.
