Prepare For Take-Off

We got major Top Gun vibes from Versus’ collection this season, as our eyes were bombarded with glorious bomber jackets and aviator shades. The jackets ranged from cropped zip-up bombers to oversized coats worn as dresses, along with exaggerated collars. Leather and zip details toughened up the structured look, and the seductive fits kept the looks feminine and fresh. Versus stuck to the traditional bomber jacket colours of khaki and navy, with a twist of citrusy orange. These pieces definitely had us all packed and ready to fly Versus airlines anyday.

Bad To The Bone

Versus aims to create clothing that’ll make you feel powerful, and boy did these models look powerful. The tough guys and gals stomped down the runway in buckle and zip detailed pieces, radiating wearing-sunglasses-in-the-daytime level cool. The models rocked leather jackets and mini skirts with loose belts – because when you’re this cool, you don’t have time to buckle your belt obvs. The footwear consisted of lace-up heels and buckled boots and sandals, with metal gromet details for extra toughness.

Guys and Girls

Both menswear and womenswear walked the runway, serving fierce attitude that had us hooked from the start. The girls were decked out in cutaway dresses, with little hints at their midriffs and shoulders for extra sex appeal. The men were slaying the runway with bomber and leather jackets, rocking watches with straps that were decorated with 3D lion heads and studs. Both boys and girls wore destroyed, slouchy denim that was lined with metal or crystal mesh that peaked through the holes and rips.
