The Year 3000

We were abducted by the fashion cybots of tomorrow and thrusted into the Year 3000 with Fyodor Golan’s digital SS17 presentation. Making everyone feel like VVIPs, the event only ushered a few people into the presentation at a time, allowing everyone to get the full multimedia experience. The audience was handed monogrammed headphones blasting the voice of M.I.A and other mood boosting music to get us all pumped up and ready to party. The models were wearing neon, cyber sporty shades that brought us back to the techno 2000s – all we need now is a neon motorbike and we’re ready to roll. Fyodor stunned with dramatic reflective, holographic silver pieces which brought old school CDs to life in front of our very eyes.

Neon Rave

Colour ruled over Fodor’s collection, as the pieces were brilliantly lively and neon, pouring out rainbow, techno vibes. The models carried around their own giant fluffy alien-pet bags and sported multicoloured tresses. The clothes were giving us super Photoshop feels with digital outlined flowers spread all over the garms, wowing in psychadellic neon corals, pinks and greens.

Deconstructed Denim

Can we ever really have too much denim? We think not. Fyodor crafted fabulous denim-on-denim pieces that were endlessly denim from head to toe. Frayed, tiered tops were pieced together and bedazzled for extra sparkle. The outfits were finished off with killer thigh-high boots with a neon heel, made out of – you guessed it – denim. Other outfits were kept cool and casual with a bright neon trainer. If Fyodor’s collection is anything to go by, our future’s looking bright (and fashionable).
