Juliette Has A Gun

Douse yourself in ‘Into The Void’ until ‘Mmmm’ arrives.

Dropping, to our delight, earlier than expected in Harrods, the Into The Void edition of Juliette Has A Gun is the latest fragrance we’ve been splashing ourselves with. To explain the inspiration of the scent, we’re going to have to get deep, but bear with us, it’s well worth it. Captivated by the unexplainable phenomenon of black holes, creator Romano Ricci decided to create a fragrance inspired by these spaces within which, everything breaks down and modern science cannot explain away the conditions.

Encased in a black and gold bottle, contrasting between transparency and opaqueness, at the heart of the perfume is a blend of woody tones: guaiac wood, papyrus, cedar, norlimbanol, ambroxan and patchouli, amongst others. Mingling within, black orchid and tonka bean spark with liquorice, cutting through the heady mix. Hypnotic alone, once sprayed, the scent will only transfix you further as it reflects light in golden shimmers.

Next on our wishlist is the forthcoming Mmmm, taking notes from Ricci’s Grandmother, “a little too much, is just enough!” Due to be arriving in stores in October (which feels like forever away) the deliciously sweet scent is a sugary concoction of neroli, jasmine sambac and iris butter with a caramel finish and dashes of sandalwood and patchouli.

Only a month to wait…
