Red Bull Studios has got it down when it comes to bringing artists together for electric and eclectic collaborations. For their third Red Bull Studios Presents Mixtape, they’ve enlisted the help of producer, DJ, label-owner and king of dance music Shadow Child to curate a playlist featuring 9 tracks by the 9 hottest artists on the UK’s underground music scene.
As an international force on the club scene for the part 10 years, Shadow Child has brought out his roots in rave, house and drum n bass to create a radio show that is the go-to for techno, house and acid listeners, as well as creating remixes that were pivotal in the recent house music re-emergence. Now in it’s third year, the mixtape forms a map of the rising sounds and scenes from across the UK, featuring 9 tracks from the next big things in house. DJ/producer/singer duo Eli & Fur were just one of the acts involved, alongside an electric line-up including Troy Gunner, Rapture 4D and Lokane.
The female duo combining infectiously up-beat melodies and seductive vocals to create sounds that draw dance floors into a trance and bounce through the radio waves. Nominated for ‘Best Newcomer’ at The DJ Awards, Eli & Fur have been on a Thelma and Louise-inspired tour, and have now crafted a track exclusively for the Red Bull Studios Presents Mixtape Col. 3.
