#RaiseYourHand for Bulgari

Following their continued support with the children’s charity, Bulgari launch their latest campaign in collaboration with Save the Children.

Our favourite fine jewellery brand and all-round do-gooders, Bulgari, have had the pleasure of announcing that they’ve surpassed the milestone of – ahem, drum roll please: fifty million dollars (!!) raised for their continued collaboration with Save the Children.

To celebrate this unbelievable total, the fashion house has released it’s latest campaign #RaiseYourHand, featuring some of the dreamiest faces in fashion, naturally. Amongst the crew representing the campaign are Chloe Norgaard, Olivia Palermo, our very own one-time cover girl Soo Joo Park, Jamie Bochert and Jon Kortajarena.

With artistic direction by Fabrizio Ferri, the campaign was unveiled last week at Rome’s Museum of Contemporary Art, where Ferri explained the concept. “We raise our hand to signal our presence, our interest, our attention, our participation. To signal that we do not hide, that we have no fear, that we believe we have an answer. Raising our hand while wearing the ring or the bracelet symbolises our support for Bulgari’s effort to raise funds for Save the Children. I have personally witnessed the positive impact it has had on the lives of thousands of children around the world, thanks to the money raised so far. That’s why I donate my work. This is how I raise my hand.”

And of course, a new campaign means a new piece to covet. This time, a sterling silver and black ceramic bracelet takes centre stage, bearing the Save the Children logo and taking design inspiration from Bulgari’s beloved B.zero1 line.

So just where has that $50m gone? The donations have reach one million recipients in 33 different countries. Bulgari and Save the Children are supporting children effected by natural disasters, war, marginalisation, disability and poverty with a focus on education and in the last seven years, the collaboration has had a presence in more than 2000 schools.

Jean-Christophe Babin, CEO of Bulgari, adds, “Save the Children is one of the most effective, wide-reaching charities in the world, and we are proud to work alongside them in their cause. Children are a key component in the fight against poverty, because as much as they are vulnerable they also harbour so much potential. It is by providing assistance and education to a growing youth that we can make a difference in the whole rest of their lives. Bettering the world is a quality inborn in Bulgari’s company culture. We are proud to partner with Save the Children to do our part in making a better tomorrow.”

Available in Bulgari stores worldwide, select department stores, and on Bulgari’s website (in the US and Japan), the bracelet retails for €480 ($510) of which €75 ($100) is donated directly to Save the Children.
