Premiere: Cherryade – "Fractured Fairytales"

Synth-heavy duo Cherryade are full of attitude in their new track “Fractured Fairytales”.

Making waves in the underground London music scene are Cherryade: the synth-based duo full of attitude. With a sound that recalls the early tracks of M.I.A., Cherryade’s colourful, loud electronic beats set out to make a point and question the status quo. Currently working with Dimitri Tikovoi (who’s worked with Charli XCX), Ian Watt and Lewis Gardiner on their debut EP, Cherryade’s debut is set for release later this year, and will no doubt be full of hard-hitting electronic sounds with bucket loads of attitude. With their effortless charisma and stylistic use of synths, Cherryade would be at ease performing at both an underground basement rave and in front of thousands in a stadium. The Cherryade duo are set for greatness.

For their debut single, Cherryade are making noise with a battle cry against the restraints of social norms and the rules we’re expected to abide by in their debut single “Fractured Fairytales”. Written by the Cherryade duo and produced by Shaun Canning of Atom Tree, “Fractured Fairytales” both spreads a message on the state of society and has some intense dance beats. Unapologetic and full of attitude, Cherryade are full of defiance and style in “Fractured Fairytales”, getting their opinions about societal expectations across in the intense fluxing synth sounds. Cherryade are making a point and making it loud.
