The Most Beautiful Man In The World

We take a look at the newest issue of the magazine that does exactly what it says on (its well shaped) tin.

This may come as a surprise, but if there’s one thing we love more than stunning photography, gorgeously printed, it’s stunning photography of stunning men, gorgeously printed. And that’s why we love the tellingly named magazine, The Most Beautiful Man In The World. The brainchild of stylist supreme Frank Strachan, this lovingly crafted series (presented on crisp newsprint, y’know, that thing we all used to read?) is now in its fourth installment and is better than ever.

This time around, Strachan’s search for those beautiful men takes him and his talented band of contributors all around the world; From the streets of Budapest, to the drag shows of LA and the wild Easter Sunday festival of San Francisco, the issue brings together the most exciting image makers with the most beguiling subjects for a truly memorable edition. Not to mention the cover story with celebrated painter Michael Leonard and a 90s throwback journey into the photo albums of a former model. Interested? You should be. So check out this selection of images from the magazine – TMBMITW to those who know – and head to the publication’s site, The Tate Modern book stores, or The Photographers Gallery, London, to grab yourself a copy. Beauty (of every definition) awaits.
