Whether you’re a die-hard footy head, a fairweather FIFA dabbler, or a total novice of the Beautiful Game, there’s a good chance you’ve heard of Paul Pogba. He’s the dynamite midfielder who’s one of Juventus’ best assets: a French-native with the kind of skills and, most importantly, the kind of unique haircut that you need to go down in the history books. Appropriately enough given his stature within football, Pogba joined forces with the kings of sportswear, Adidas, last March for a long-term partnership deal. He said of the move at the time: “This is the first sponsor contract I’ve signed and it’s a very important decision for me. I chose adidas because we have shared passions and values. adidas has the same vibe as I do, on and off the pitch.”

With that in mind, it’s only right that adidas returned the love by commissioning none other than Juergen Teller (you’ve definitely heard of him, right?) to travel alongside Pogba and document him in a stunning mixture of portrait and still-life during the hectic run-up to UEFA’s European Championships.
