Möet Party Day

Möet knows how to throw a party, with guests like Samuel L Jackson in attendance – they dazzled our palettes making it a sure night to remember.

A rather sparkling event by Möet & Chandon was held on 11th June at the opulent and apt setting of Victoria House, Bloomsbury London. Dubbed “Now or Neverland” the party focused on living in the #MoetMoment, because there’s no time like the present, right? It’s their first Möet Party Day and was thrown as a celebration to mark the iconic date of the first ever Champagne spray by Dan Gurney at the Le Mans Race in 1967.

Popping off the summer to a great start, the guests included some gorgeous people like Samuel L Jackson, posh totty Millie Mackintosh and heartthrobs Oliver Cheshire and Toby Huntington-Whiteley. Bip Ling busted out the dance moves and it wasn’t long until everyone else wanted to join in too. Celebrity DJs like Raleigh Ritchie, Becky Tong and Blonde Ambition were hot on the decks leaving us thirsty for more of their tunes. Luckily, beverage companies have an endless supply of bubbly to give away and they are always filling your glass up to the top before you’ve finished. Those are the sorts of parties we like.

Guests sipped on the iconic Möet Impérial Brut and Rosé and tested the taste of the newly released Moët Ice Rosé on the rocks. A bottle of bubbly please? Don’t mind if we do. Living in the thrill of the present, they had an #OpenTheNow bar and a “Play The Now” vending machine which gleamed at us as if to say “you know you want to”. Filled to the brim with cuter and smaller bottles of Möet with a neon pink backdrop, how could we ignore it? As a reminder of a spectacular night, the Möet Party encouraged guests to create their own #MoetMoment by posing for Magnum Photographer Olivia Arthur in contemporary ‘jumpology’ images originally made famous by Philippe Halsman. Guests jumped as high as they could and lost themselves in the moment just as they should have. Möet & Chandon’s first party day was a complete success, we’re already excited for the next one, chin-chin!
