There, ominous flocks of swallows were printed across tailored separates with Hitchcockian menace — hinting at McQueen’s own fascination with birds and his enduring interest in the apocalyptic portent of nature.

Now, that print becomes a sensational textual command, provocatively stamped in bold face across t-shirts and hoodies. If you’re slightly shy though, there’s always the lambswool knit, boasting artist Tom Tosseyn’s updated swallow design for 2016. Skull-like eyes keep things unmistakably McQueen — even if the message is a little bit quieter.
