Stop what you’re doing right now. Adidas have treated us to part 2 of their collaboration with Palace and it drops this weekend.
Everyone was stoked after May’s release of Adidas originals by Palace Skateboards. The brand at the forefront of the skating scene brought us a street vibe to die for: sportswear classics and plenty of three-stripe garms that were necessary for your wardrobe. They sold out unbelievably quickly, and there’s no wonder – they’re skater heroes not to be messed with. If you didn’t manage to get hold of an iconic logo staple, there’s no need to panic it’s not over just yet – they’re back for part 2!
Following part one’s first batch, round two of the SS16 collection serves us a Palace platter. The lightweight black and printed shorts have a jacket and hat to match, so you can walk down the street looking extra fresh with “PALACE” pasted on the back your jacket and on the front of your snapback. There’s also a navy tracksuit, nostalgic of football design perspectives, which are magically comfortable for when you just want to sit down and chill the hell out. Their white long-sleeved shirt is described by Palace – “all white tonal stuff just smells of class and money” – would you agree? Try it and see. As well as this, there’s another dose of Primeknit footwear in “bright orange” or “surf petrol” – a sure sign of what’s going to be everywhere this summer.
Skatewear junkies will be keen to pick up these essentials to complete their Summer apparel. Make sure you spare up some time this weekend to secure that you get at least one piece from this incredible collection, because there’s no doubt that it will sell out in a heartbeat. It’s available online and from select retailers globally from 4th June 2016, it’s something you’re not going to want to miss.
