Hailing from Ireland, SEARLS blends his impressively soulful and varied vocal range with producer LJ Looper’s electronic background to create his own distinctive sound. Originally honing his craft as a backing singer before moving into song writing, SEARLS isn’t one to shy away from addressing tough topics in his lyrics. He often explores themes such as addiction, sexuality, love and oppression through a rich electro-RnB lens. Honing his talents in his first single “Doing Time”, which had remixes that wowed the dance community last year, he will soon be releasing his debut EP “Follow”.

From a collaborative relationship with Electronic Music Producer LJ Looper, who produced his new EP Follow, comes possibly the first RnB-based track with choral elements, titled “Hurricane”. A beautifully emotive and calming track, with moving lyrics like “Hurricane/Chase the storm” on top of the rich and haunting Celtic choral layers creates the perfect imagery to match SEARLS’ soulful vocals. Judging by this track, SEARLS’ upcoming EP is going to be an emotional ride. Tissues at the ready, people.
