The fresh new jewellery brand gifted to us by Giusy Ligouri.

Born into a family of jewellers, it was no wonder Milan-based Giusy Ligouri decided to use her rich, sparkling heritage to create her own label in 2015 named 6229. The name and logo has a sentimental story behind it that we love! It was inspired by her grandfather’s paintbrush that he used during his military service in the 1940s, sweetly symbolising the concept of new beginnings.

The jewels are shaped to perfection with their spikey edges similar to mini explosions or lightening strikes, and delicate necklaces with the 6229 logo. There’s rose-gold, gold, gunmetal or sterling silver plated designs, so there’s something for everyone. You can choose the stones you want, and they come in a variety of beautiful colours.

Going along with this concept, her fist collection represents rebirth, reminiscent of the works of Matthew Barney, Carsten Nicolai and Thomas Saraceno Each piece is crafted to elegant perfection, as it’s handmade by her team of skilled artisans in her Milanese atelier. The twinkling stones and plating is all customizable and made to order making, making sure every piece is as special as the person you’re buying it for.
