Italia Independent × Adidas Originals

A collection of totally flexible sunnies? Sign us up.

Between backing Kanye on his YEEZY collections and joining forces with Raf Simons and Rick Owens on some seriously covetable trainers, adidas are always taking the world of stellar collabs to the next level. Their latest venture? Teaming up once again with Italia Independent to serve us a collection of digitally-printed sun glasses for SS16. You’ll probably remember that the two brands have already worked together on a range of technicolour ZX Flux sneakers as well as a previous collection of candy coloured sunglasses. And, sure enough, that same vivid aesthetic is at play again with this round of distinctive shades.

The collection has been made using lightweight polymers so all of them are totally flexible meaning no snapping sunnies – absolute game changer, we know. We’re crushing big time on the the baby pink classics, the dreamiest colour for complementing our summer-induced glows – we hope, at least. For those not wishing to embrace their inner-Barbie quite yet, the classic tortoiseshells are pretty irresistible, too. Durable, hi-tech and fabulous: what more could you want?

The adidas Originals collection can be bought at the adidas Originals website, at Italia Independent stores and on their website.
