Fendi Flowerland Pop Up

Fendi’s spectacularly floral pop up opens today at Selfridges.

With flowers figuring so prominently in Fendi’s SS16 women’s collection – floral appliques blossom on bag straps and trainers are enlivened with vivid blooms – it makes sense that the house would run with the theme for their unique pop up shop in Selfridges. Joining forced with renowned Japanese flower artist Azuma Makoto, Fendi invite visitors to enter the Flowerland world, where they’ll be greeted with an Ape truck (the pint-sized, three-wheeled Italian icon) decorated with flower motifs, original flower bouquets, and even floral collars.

What’s more, throughout the opening fortnight of Flowerland, guests will be able to witness an artisan from Makoto’s studio creating unique floral bottles (we’ve got ours already) and be given the opportunity to purchase them. This pop up marks the third collaboration between Fendi and Makoto, something their celebrating with unique products available for the first time – Peekaboo, 2Jours and 3Jours bags, decorated with 3D floral motifs made with leather and Plexiglas – as well as a few European exclusives. So, get yourself down to Selfridges, anytime from today to the 5th June – for your floral fix.
