Can you tell us about how you got scouted?
I was scouted a few times as a child/teen but pursued school instead, and then later decided I wanted to give it a try and submitted online to Ford Models and got started there as my first agency.
What have you been up to since you got scouted?
Since I was scouted, I have been testing, shooting a lot of editorials and traveling.
What’s your favourite thing that you’ve worn on a shoot or in a show that you wish was yours?
It’s too hard to pinpoint just one item, I would love to own so many of the things I get to wear. I’ve worn a lot of Versace though, and I would definitely love to keep some of those items.
Who would be your dream photographer to work with? Or your dream designer to walk for?
Dream Photographer: Steven Meisel – his work is simplistic, beautiful and iconic.
Dream Designer to walk for: Alexander Wang – his designs capture my style; I love how dark and edgy everything is.
What do you do when you’re not modelling?
When I am not modelling, I hang out with my friends and family or I spend time drawing and painting.
What’s been your favourite moment as a model so far?
My favourite moment as a model so far has been traveling to Milan, Italy. I was there for almost 6 months and it was an amazing experience. I met so many talented people and would love to go back.
Which city would you love to live in?
If I could choose any city to live in, it would have to be London. The culture, music, architecture, style, and even the weather suit me perfectly.
Do you prefer shoots or shows?
I have yet to have the opportunity to walk in any shows yet, but I would definitely love to. Shoots allow you to be creative and expressive which is always super fun.
Who’s your favourite female model and who’s your favourite male model?
Favourite male model right now is Daan van der Deen. He has an interesting look and has been in Vogue several times. He’s also walked the runway for so many of the top designers during fashion week.
Favourite female model would be Natalie Westling. I love just about everything she does. She is so down to earth and true to herself which is what makes her such a great model. You can really see her personality come thru in her work. Not to mention she has done just about everything I would love to do during my career.
What do you do with your time off?
During my time off I spend a lot of time at the gym. I grew up dancing as well as doing competitive cheerleading and gymnastics. So I really enjoy being athletic and exercising.
