Converse continue to innovate on their iconic designs with the new Chuck Taylor II Knit collection. Launching this SS16 season, the line reimagines the brand’s classic Chuck Taylor using an innovative knitted material and a selection of super-vibrant colourways. Cannily released just in time for the mud-caked music season (what shoe says summer of fests louder than well-used Converse?), the new designs are inspired by the kaleidoscopic light shows of your favourite festivals and even up the comfort stakes with Nike Lunarlon sockliners and non-slip tongue: so all that standing and pushing to get to the front of the crowd won’t leave you howling in blister-induced pain.
In fact, BBK’s very own Jammer is a big fan of the Knits and is flexing them in his new video “Wavy House”. Converse were naturally given some exclusive back stage access to the filming of the vid (the Chuck Knits natural environment) and were kind enough to send those images Wonderland‘s way. So, plug in to “Wavy House” and look out for the fresh kicks – available, incidentally, as of yesterday, giving you no excuse not to be well-prepped for the summer.
