Tell us about how you got scouted? Did you find it or did it find you?
I got scouted while shopping in Amsterdam when I was 16, but when I was 18 I send pictures to iD models in Holland, then it all started!
Modelling is a hectic lifestyle! Running between castings/fittings/shoots must take its toll- what do you do to chill out?
Sometimes after I worked somewhere I book myself out for a few days so I can hang out with my boyfriend.
Do you prefer catwalk shows or editorial shoots?
A bit of both, after fashion weeks it’s so refreshing to shoot again!
What would you say your best modelling experience has been so far?
I think it’s a shoot I did with Tim Walker, I loved his work so much since I was much younger, so to work with him was a dream. The set was a dream as well, it was a winter wonderland and I had to ice skate!
How do you stay in shape?
I try to walk as much as possible, instead of taking public transport. I found out so many cool places by walking from casting to casting.
Those dreaded munchies get the better of us all from time to time- What’s your favourite snack/cure?
Lately it’s M&Ms hehe.
Is there anyone that you have admired from a young age?
My mum!
What is one item in your wardrobe that you would never throw away?
When I was in Tokyo I found these blue velvet Givenchy boots, they are so cool I would wear them forever but i’m scared they’re gonna look so bad soon. Since they’re velvet and it’s a hard job for me to keep shoes nice haha.
Do you have a skincare regime? Any life-changing secrets that we need to try out?
Water. Drink a lot of water!! And I clean my skin with rosewater, it smells so good!
Do you have any wise words for people wanting to progress in to the modelling industry?
Stay true to yourself.
