PUMA × SWASH SS16

Squiggly sea creatures and stained glass window prints, SWASH and PUMA team up for an SS16 collaboration.

PUMA are getting the print treatment for SS16. Teaming up with East London’s very own, SWASH print house some of PUMA’s favourite styles have had a revamp, doused in SWASH’s signature hand-drawn and painted digi-prints. PUMA will adopt the SWASH pair, Sarah Swash and Toshio Tamanaka’s usual methods, creating fantasy worlds, reaching impressive new heights in a streetwear collection.

Global Sports Brand PUMA collaborates anew with the East London based print and fashion house SWASH London. The Spring-Summer ’16 range will see the SWASH duo, Sarah Swash and Toshio Yamanaka, inject new bold and whimsical prints into some of PUMA’s most iconic styles. Whilst the new collection delves deep into the unexpected, the styles remain streetwear-ready, staying true to both brands.

The PUMA x SWASH collab is centred around typical basketball kit given a whimsical lift, based on the lost and found: think skeletons, antique jewellery like family heirlooms and treasures. Accompanying footwear for the collection sees the Blaze of Glory given a full SWASH makeover in their OSSUARY design. SWASH SAMOVAR takes over the States Mid while the States go all out in a jewel-toned TOUCAN print.

For the basketball feel, SWASH have lent their prints to the unisex Varisty Jacket, Basketball Tank, Track Jacket plus a crew, dress, placement print tee and City Sac backpack.

The collection drops through select lifestyle shops worldwide starting April 1st. #PUMAxSWASH
