Saint Laurent Emmanuelle Bag

Meet the bucket bag of your dreams.

All hail Saint Laurent. Even without its beloved Yves, it’s hard not to be obsessed with them and their abundance of logo embossed bags, not to mention their utterly covetable AW16 collection in Paris last week (but that’s another story). In this episode of Everybody Loves Laurent we are talking about their charming collection of Emmanuelle chain bucket bags that we are quite frankly obsessed with. The best part? They come in four diverse designs.

The first delicious offering features a black and multicolour wool rose motif that could definitely pass as something your nan has cross stitched for you, but in a cool grunge, its-worth-£1000 kinda way. They also have knee high boots and a rose print shirt to match, but maybe we’re going a bit overboard.

The brush stroked leopard printed version is a no questions asked, need-it-in-your-life kind of situation. The thick gold chain and chunky side zips are not to be messed with and the carpeted fabric will take you all the way through to the later stages in life, to the time where you dress only in head to toe camel and rounds of pearls. An all round life investment in our books.

A snake print bag of dreams takes form as the stylish luxe auntie of the collection. With a golden toned shell, it definitely wouldn’t look out of place perched on a Moroccan beach cabana complete with chic turban and gemmed jewellery. The only way to do a beach.

Rounding up the herd is a classic matte black croc embossed rendition that is as practical as you can get. Take it for a laid-back shopping soiree, a Sunday morning food market or to your Saturday evening shenanigans. A black bag is for life, and it’s pretty safe to say this one is for any time any place (even when crawling out of the club at 4.30 in the morning).

We’ll have all four please.
