MY CHELSEA HOTEL

We stay at the made-for-measure hotel of your dreams.

As its name would suggest, My Hotel is the hotel brand focused on a personalised service that caters for the needs of, well, you. It all begins from the moment you book with them: by filling out their innovative My Preferences options, you can customise your visit before you’ve even arrived. Have an eternally sore neck that requires only the firmest and plumpest type of pillow? Let them know. Offended by poor design and ill-chosen art on the walls? Well, you won’t find any of that here but still, let them know. You get the picture. The best part is that the guys at My Hotel (or their computers) will remember your preferences for your next stay: you’ll be back, trust us.

If that all seems a little egocentric, then fear not, because social responsibility is also at the core of the My Hotel brand. Not only are they partnered with Friends Of The Earth, they’re also committed to using non-toxic cleaning products and even have a bee hive on the roof of My Chelsea – the struggle of the honey bee is real, people. So, guilty conscience soothed and abated, we were ready to enjoy the clean, classic interiors of My Chelsea. Its rooms are calming, beautifully curated and spacious, with none of the cookie-cutter, indenti-kit decor you are forced to suffer in so many hotels – plus, for those of a, ahem, playful disposition, there’s also an exclusive 210th Suite that’s well appointed with everything you would need for a romantic retreat.

Staff are, it goes without saying, attentive to your needs without being overbearing lingerers (is there anything more annoying?). Then there’s My Chelsea’s location; situated a stroll away from fashion mecca The King’s Road as well as modern art hotspot The Saatchi Gallery, it’s pretty much as central and conveniently placed as you could wish. Finally, with a cafe from raw food specialist Tanya Maher offering healthy, nourishing food in a quietly chic, botanically infused setting, you have to wonder, why would you stay anywhere else?
