Underground Subculture

In a quest to find the UK’s most current but hidden subcultures, Underground are travelling up and down the country.

Subcultures are often hidden and come to achieve infamy once they’re over. Underground are trying to uncover them before the hype settles down. The style brand, credited with the resurrection of the Creeper (thank you, we owe you for an eternity), are taking to the streets of the UK to find and explore our own subcultures. They’re hitting up London, Manchester, Bristol and Glasgow to get the low down on what’s bubbling under each city’s surface.

Everything that Underground does is influenced by British subculture, so why not inspect it? From the way music informs fashion and vice versa and the way they both alert us to a shift in culture, everything trickles down through their creative process, even into their designs. Check the SOUNDWAVE ranges, that take inspiration from the visual digitisation of sound. Sounds complex, looks great.
