Louis Vuitton Pre-Fall 2016

Louis Vuitton Pre-Fall is here and it’s worth the wait.

Nicolas Ghesquiere and the guys over at Louis Vuitton have dropped their Pre-Fall collection today and you’re gonna want to see it. Based loosely around the three tenets which have been at the heart of recent LV collections (neo-classics, elevated sportswear, and a kind of futuristic adventurer vibe) the Pre-Fall pieces are designed to create a complete and cohesive wardrobe and play on the notions of androgyny continued in the SS16 collection – you’ll no doubt remember Jaden Smith working a killer skirt look in LV’s current campaign.

Outerwear highlights include the beige, scrunched sleeve bomber hybrid and that hyper-puffed sleeve leather number that looks like some piece of fabulous Blade Runner armour – in the best way possible, of course. On the more traditional end of the spectrum there are beautifully tailored coats and super covetable dresses all finished off with stomp-ready boots to round out that warrior woman effect. As well as the lookbook images, the extremely in-demand Karim Sadli also directed a killer video for the collection that nicely channels the fierce futurist atmosphere of the collection, so make sure you check that out too.
