Are there any particular artists that you have referenced in particular this season?

There is no specific artist reference for AW 16, quite the contrary; I was influenced by ‘ordinary’ people who have collected and gathered for a lifetime. People whose homes are an imprint of time gone by. The old world in their unique way.

What were your main inspirations for AW16?

I looked to the floors of these eccentric homes,  with their carpets, blankets and rag rugs layered on top of each other.

What sort of details can we expect?

Deconstructed classics remade in carpet, exclusive rag rug silk print, covered buttons, PU treated wools, crispy japanese denim and italian archival wool fantasies, bright fur collars woven from scraps of fur.

Who is the ultimate pin-up for AW16.

My granddad.

What’s your favourite piece from the collection?

A soft blue wool pinstripe coat with detachable collar in multi coloured fur.  Collar is woven and made from fur scraps, exactly like a rag rug.
