SOFI TUKKER are the New York based dance-duo whose sound you might recognize from the latest Apple Watch campaign: the track used, “Drinkee”, is probably their strongest output thus far, with it’s bassy, funk-inflected groove and hypnotic vocals. Their currently prepping for their debut EP release early next year which, if their previous work is anything to go by, is bound to distill their various world, jazz and Bosa Nova influences into something uniquely wonderful. Luckily for us, though, the duo did find time to cook up a little playlist for Wonderland. It’s fairly dance heavy (as you might expect), starting with the slow-tempo sense tingler, “High”, before moving into boogie-inducing numbers like “Ceremonial” and even a banger from Brazillian rapper Karol Conka. Stick it on as you await the weekend and make sure SOFI TUKKER stay on your radar come the new year.
